We are very excited to welcome Timea Nagy as our Keynote Speaker for our upcoming May 1 Be Brave Luncheon! Timea is a Survivor of Human Trafficking, a Best-Selling Author, an Award-winning Human rights activist and an Executive Producer.
Timea’s journey as a survivor of sex trafficking has led her to be one of the leading voices and change-makers in the national and global movement. Ms. Nagy furthermore played a key role in Canada’s largest Human Trafficking investigation led by the RCMP Niagara detachment. And as a UN advisor to the Global Financial Sector, she was the first Survivor to train and educate Bankers around the world about the signs of Human Trafficking.
Ms. Nagy’s efforts have been recognized by hundreds of organizations and individuals like Queen Elizabeth, the Prime Minister of Canada, and the Governor General, to name a few. Her story has been featured in major media outlets such as Forbes, The Economist, BBC, CNN, CTV, and The Social.
And we look forward to having Timea as our Keynote Speaker for our upcoming Edmonton and Calgary Be Brave Luncheons!
