Every November, the Edmonton Convention Centre becomes home to one of the most anticipated culinary events in Western Canada. The Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival (RMWFF) is a celebration of flavour, local craftsmanship and collaboration, bringing together the region’s best culinary talent to food and drink lovers for two unforgettable days. The magic happens before the first glass is poured—before the aromas fill the air and before the first ticket is scanned. RMWFF comes together in the months of the planning sessions, the vendor selection, the marketing meetings, and the countless other details that bring the experience to life.
In the weeks leading up to the festival, our culinary and event teams work closely with organizers and partners to fine-tune every detail. From lighting to guest flow, or floorplans to dishes, there is not a single stone left unturned when it comes to intentional planning of this event. Our venue is your canvas and our meeting planners are the artists.
The test meal is one of the most important aspects of the planning process for many of our clients at the Edmonton Convention Centre, and it is a highly anticipated pre-event experience. It is not a rehearsal dinner or a formality; it is an intimate evening where our award-winning culinary team, sales team and event planners sit down to experience every dish and sip exactly as guests will—where ideas become tangible and important feedback is collected to create the perfect dining experience for guests. Every dish is tasted and refined, from appetizers to entrees and desserts, to ensure every bite feels seamless for festival guests.
“We are constantly experimenting, seasoning, plating, and pairing to create a unique culinary experience at this marquee event to celebrate food and wine. Our team takes extraordinary pride in displaying Edmonton’s local flavours in an authentic way at our food station,” says Executive Chef Serge Belair. “When we get to collaborate with partners like the Rocky Mountain team, we turn the experience into something unforgettable for our guests.”
In 2025, the Rocky Mountain Wine and Food Festival showcased over 270 Canadian-made beverage, 200 wines from around the world and 20+ Edmonton restaurants.
“Our team has been producing a series of vibrant food and beverage events across Alberta since 1998. At the heart of our work is a simple belief: food and drink are a universal language — bringing people together, sparking stories, and enriching lives. As our festivals have evolved over the years, we’re always exploring new ways to deepen our celebration of both food and human connection.”
– Fiona Standing, Managing Director.
