From its inception, the annual Mayor’s State of the City address hosted by the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce has been a platform for Edmonton’s municipal leadership to shine a spotlight on issues of key importance to our city and region.

Mayor Iveson has focused on innovation, economic development and regional co-operation—initiatives that have commanded the attention and support of business leaders across multiple sectors. 2019 promises to be a big year for the city given the provincial and federal elections, massive infrastructure projects, the City’s first four-year budget and the new Vision 2050 strategic plan.
